Job summary

Ascension Saint Joseph in Chicago, IL is seeking a Night shift, PRN Specialty Float RN to deliver expert nursing care across ICU, ED, and Telemetry, adapting to diverse patient populations and executing physician orders with clinical autonomy.

You will monitor and document rapid changes in patient condition, apply evidence-based interventions, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, seamless patient transitions.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Illinois
• BLS certification
• Diploma from an accredited nursing program

Responsibilities

• Dynamic Clinical Agility across ICU, ED, and Telemetry to implement physician orders with clinical autonomy.
• Real-Time Assessment & Action by monitoring patient condition and communicating changes for safety.
• Multidisciplinary Leadership to coordinate care and ensure seamless patient transitions.
