Ascension Saint Joseph in Chicago, IL, is seeking an ICU registered nurse for night shift on a full-time basis. You will deliver specialized critical care, coordinating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure continuous, high-quality patient care in a high-acuity environment.

The role requires IL RN licensure, BLS within 1 month, and preferred ALS. A nursing diploma or BSN is required, with opportunities for professional development within Ascension’s comprehensive benefits program.

Formación

• Registered Nurse credential from Illinois required prior to hire date.
• BLS Provider or Instructor in Basic Life Support required within 1 month of hire.
• Advanced Life Support preferred.
• Diploma from an accredited nursing program or active professional licensure at time of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver compassionate, specialized critical care by designing, implementing, and reassessing personalized patient care plans.
• Serve as central hub coordinating with physicians, specialists, and allied health professionals for round-the-clock treatment.
• Maintain rigorous oversight of vital signs and complex conditions, executing orders precisely and communicating updates.
• Lead holistic discharge planning with patients and families for safe ICU transition.
