Job summary

Foxconn Assembly, LLC is seeking a capable supervisor to guide production personnel toward on-time, quality manufacturing goals. You will supervise, train, schedule work, resolve issues, and ensure safety and SOP compliance across the shift.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in a supervisory role in manufacturing, proficient in Excel, SAP and Oracle, and strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; an associate degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years supervising experience in manufacturing.
• 2 years’ experience in a supervisory role required.
• Experience with SAP and Oracle is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train production personnel, schedule work, and provide direction.
• Identify staffing needs, interview, and assist with employee selection.
• Monitor daily production results and report downtime, efficiencies, and waste.
• Collaborate with Quality and Engineering to resolve issues and improve productivity.
• Ensure compliance with time and attendance, safety, SOPs, and housekeeping.
• Participate in productivity improvement projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Description

This position is responsible for supervising and guiding production personnel to achieve on-time and quality manufacturing.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead production personnel by providing supervision and training, scheduling work, resolving problems, and providing direction, discipline and evaluations.
• Identify staffing needs, interview, and recommend employee selection.
• Work toward the achievement of department, site, and company goals in production, quality, and other standards.
• Monitor and report daily production results, such as downtime, efficiencies, material shortage, and waste.
• Interact with other internal functional departments, such as Quality and Engineering, to solve issues and improve productivity.
• Ensure compliance to standards such as time and attendance, safety, SOP (standard operating procedures), and housekeeping practices.
• Apply expertise in resolving problems associated with production and procedures.
• Participate in productivity improvement projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills

Education and Experience

• High School diploma required, Associate’s degree or equivalent preferred.
• 2 years’ experience in a supervisory role required.
• 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
