Job summary

Sealed Air Corporation is seeking a night shift machine operator to run and adjust packaging-related machinery on a rotating schedule from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM in Ohio. The role involves following work orders, handling basic troubleshooting, and ensuring product quality throughout production.

You will document daily production, pull samples for quality checks, and maintain logs. Candidates should be prepared for precision work and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate machine, basic troubleshooting, making adjustments and appropriate escalation as required in order to maintain quality and production requirements.
• Work from work orders, samples, specification book, written and verbal instructions. Use small hand tools, such as rubber hammer, wrenches, screwdriver, and pliers, measuring and weigh scale.
• Obtain work instructions and properly select and load in-process work in prescribed manner. Make adjustments in accordance with established procedures for machine operation. Check, set controls, and reset as required for proper speed, feed, tension, or other related machine operation. Remove completed work, properly package, identify, weigh, and properly store.
• Responsible for consistently monitoring the quality of product and to maintain quality standards of every set.
• Pull product samples during production to ensure quality of production per sampling standards.
• Maintain production log, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Operator Live Log, etc. to track detail of daily production.
