Job summary

UCHealth Parkview Sleep Lab in Pueblo, CO is seeking a Night Sleep Technologist to provide care for patients undergoing sleep studies. On-site position with a pay range of $29.54–$44.31/hour, based on experience.

Full-time schedule at 72 hours per pay period, nights shift, no remote option. Responsibilities include preparing for testing, performing studies, scoring and reporting results, and maintaining equipment.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED.
• BRPT-registered Polysomnographic Technologist or NBRC-registered Respiratory Therapist.
• BLS certification with card in-hand before start date and valid through 60 days after hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepares for the arrival of the patient by setting up equipment and interviewing the patient to determine sleep disorder issues and explain testing procedures.
• Performs sleep testing and any required additional testing for sleep disorders.
• Scores, interprets and reports sleep study results; educates patients about test results and available resources.
• Maintains and calibrates equipment; identifies needed repairs and replacements.
• Works in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision and uses critical thinking.
