Job summary

PeaceHealth is seeking a Polysomnographic Technologist - Sleep Center Equipment for a Part Time, 0.80 FTE, Night position. Works under supervision to provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders, including polysomnography and patient care and education.

Salary range is $31.60 – $47.40 per hour. The hiring rate depends on education, training, work experience, and any applicable collective bargaining agreement.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree Preferred: Health Sciences
• Required: High level of sleep disorder work experience.
• Required: within 1 Year Polysomnographic Technologist Multi and
• Required: Upon Hire Basic Life Support
• Preferred: Registered Polysomnographic Technologist

Responsibilities

• Collects, analyzes and integrates patient information to identify needs and determine testing parameters.
• Respond to study participants' procedural inquiries.
• Document sleep stages and clinical events to facilitate scoring and interpretation.
• Administers bedtime, morning, and quality assurance questionnaires.
• Performs equipment setup, calibration and patient hookup.
• Oversees and performs difficult procedures and interprets results.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
