Job summary

Qualifications

• High School/GED or equivalent experience or four years of similar experience.
• Standing and walking for extended periods, on-site.
• Able to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail and safety.

Responsibilities

• Intake new clients and assist with discharge planning.
• Support distribution of meals and snacks including clean up.
• Conduct hourly walking inspections of all areas of the facility.
• Assist with training new staff and volunteers.
• Assist residents with regular laundry services.
• Assist with custodial and janitorial duties.
• Assist with stocking food and/or supply deliveries.
• Communicate with residents and adhere to shelter rules and policies.
• Attend and participate in staff meetings.
• Respond to emergencies promptly.
• Work cooperatively with other staff and programs.
• Facilitate laundry of towels and client clothes.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
