Job summary

Father Bill’s & MainSpring is seeking a Support Staff member for Direct Care in Southern Massachusetts. The role focuses on daily interactions with shelter participants, maintaining safety, and assisting with intakes in alignment with program policy.

The position offers both part-time and full-time options, with CPR certification provided by FBMS and opportunities for professional development within a mission-driven environment. Weekend shifts are included, and ongoing training is provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalency is required.
• CPR certification is required and provided by FBMS.
• AED and First Aid may also be required and provided by FBMS.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of guests and site.
• Enforce rules and regulations for smooth operation.
• Respond to emergencies and document per guidelines.
• Complete intake process.
• Provide support and structure for guests.
• Initiate crisis intervention when needed.
• Record documentation per guidelines.
• Attend and participate in meetings and trainings.
