Job summary

Quad's Franklin, WI packaging facility is hiring a Sheetfed Second Press Operator. You will set up and operate press equipment to customer specs while maintaining productivity and quality.

We seek candidates with 2 years of second press experience, Heidelberg presses (105/106) familiarity, perfecting experience, and strong color and mechanical aptitude. This full-time role requires lifting and long shifts; overtime may apply, with a $3.00 shift premium.

Qualifications

• 2 years of second press operator experience.
• Experience with Heidelberg 105 or 106 with coater.
• Must have some perfecting experience.
• Must have some understanding of color.
• A strong mechanical aptitude is required.
• Must have eye/hand coordination for adjustments.
• Must be able to utilize a computer to ensure quality.
• Ability to lift 10-15 pounds continuously, up to 70 pounds occasionally, and stand long hours.
• Must pass a color test.

Responsibilities

• Safely maintaining the press.
• Performing regular maintenance and upkeep of the press.
• Checking for proper ink and paper and maintaining supplies.
• Assisting in register and sheet rule-up.
• Adhering to plant processes and SOPs.
