Quad Packaging in Salt Lake City, UT seeks a Sheetfed First Press Operator to join our day shift (6 am-2 pm). You will operate and maintain multi-color sheetfed offset presses, ensuring prints meet customer specs and production targets.

The role requires 3–5 years’ experience on sheetfed presses, familiarity with Heidelberg XL106, and ability to read job tickets. Training travels to Franklin, WI and Spartanburg, SC are planned. We offer hourly pay between $25 and $32, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of sheetfed press experience preferred.
• Experience with Heidelberg XL106 or similar presses is preferred.
• Ability to read job tickets and follow SOPs precisely.
• Strong safety and quality focus; able to perform routine maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, operate, and maintain multi-color sheetfed presses.
• Verify stock, color, and image positioning against proofs.
• Perform make-ready tasks and ensure quality during run.
• Document production data and report discrepancies.
• Mentor and train team members as needed.
• Follow SOPs and safety guidelines.
