Job summary

Quad Packaging is seeking a Lead Sheetfed Operator to join our Franklin, WI facility on a 12-hour weekend shift. You will operate advanced packaging presses, set up substrates, inks, and plates, and maintain quality throughout production.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years on Lead Sheetfed, color test proficiency, and strong mechanical aptitude. Expect a competitive hourly rate with shift premiums and overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as Lead Sheetfed Operator in packaging/printing.
• Experience with Heidelberg XL 106 6-color or K&B Rapida 106 7-color; other makes considered.
• Ability to pass a color test is required.
• Strong mechanical skills and aptitude.
• Able to lift 10–15 pounds continuously; up to 50 pounds occasionally; stand 12 hours.
• Willing to work 12-hour shifts with OT during holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for operation by setting up the offset press for substrate, ink, and plate specs.
• Operate sheetfed press per customer specs and monitor material usage.
• Perform quality checks and maintain product quality throughout the run.
• Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment.
• Direct crew during maintenance and assist with trainings.
• Maintain ink/water balance and monitor color consistency across runs.
