Job summary

KDC Construction is hiring a Service Technician in Phoenix, AZ. The role involves performing a wide range of repair and maintenance work across various sites, from minor handyman tasks to medium renovations.

You will work independently with minimal supervision, delivering a positive customer experience. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, general handyman skills (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, flooring, drywall), own a vehicle and tools, and are comfortable using Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Flexible schedule including some nights and weekends
• General trade/handyman experience with basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, flooring and drywall
• Must possess vehicle and tools required to perform job functions
• Ability to interact with a diverse customer roster
• Demonstrates attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated and works independently
• Delivers a positive customer experience
• Follows company policies and procedures
• Proactive, energetic and enthusiastic
• Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Services work orders at various customer locations.
• Performs minor equipment and building repairs.
• Responds to Priority 1 emergency safety concerns.
• Updates store visits, on-site times, and schedule changes.
• Documents daily activities with photos and reports to management.
• Maintains store-level facility records and required paperwork.
• Keeps company vehicle and parts inventory in good order.
• Inspects and troubleshoots systems and travels to different worksites.
• Adheres to Health, Safety, and Environmental Program.
• Other duties as assigned
