Job summary

Cirks Construction Inc. (CCI), dba KDC Construction, seeks a Service Technician to handle a high volume of repair and maintenance work orders, from minor handyman tasks to medium commercial renovations.

You will work independently with minimal supervision across electrical, plumbing, carpentry, flooring, and drywall. The role emphasizes delivering a positive customer experience, safe work practices, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• General trade or Handyman experience with basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, flooring, and drywall.
• Possess the vehicle and tools required to perform job functions.
• Ability to interact with a diverse customer roster.
• Demonstrates attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Self-motivated and works independently.

Responsibilities

• Services work orders at various customer locations.
• Performs requested minor equipment and building repairs.
• Respond to Priority 1 emergency safety concern requests.
• Maintain daily updates detailing store visits, on-site times, and schedule changes.
• Document daily work activity and photos; respond to management inquiries.
• Assist with updating store-level facility records with completed paperwork.
• Maintain company vehicle and parts inventory.
• Inspect and troubleshoot systems to identify repairs.
• Travel to different worksites to complete tasks.
• Follow Health, Safety, and Environmental Program requirements.
