Job summary

KDC Construction seeks a Service Technician to handle a high volume of repair and maintenance work orders across multiple sites. You will perform basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, flooring, and drywall tasks, often independently, with a focus on delivering a positive customer experience and continual improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• General trade or handyman experience with basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, flooring, and drywall.
• Must have a vehicle and tools to perform job functions.
• Ability to interact with a diverse customer roster.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform services work orders at various customer locations.
• Carry out minor equipment and building repairs as requested.
• Respond to emergencies and safety concerns as needed.
• Maintain daily updates on store visits, on-site times, and schedule changes.
• Document daily activities with photos and communicate with management.
• Update store-level facility records and submit paperwork.
• Maintain company vehicle and parts inventory.
• Inspect and troubleshoot systems; travel to different worksites for tasks.
• Work safely and support all Health, Safety, and Environmental programs.
• Other duties as assigned.
