Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Sr. Maintenance Technician / Electrician for night shifts at the ARI site. You will operate and maintain electrical power generation and distribution, backup power, and UPS systems while performing troubleshooting and repairs on complex equipment.

The role includes a 12-hour night schedule (7PM-7AM), a rotating D shift, 15% shift differential, and Sunday premium pay. Initial onboarding is 2–6 weeks, mostly administrative.

Qualifications

• High school/GED plus 2 years electrical systems/maintenance work or military experience.
• Associate’s degree plus 6 months electrical systems/maintenance work or military experience.
• Rhode Island Journeyperson Electrician license or ability to obtain one is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain electrical power generation and distribution systems.
• Maintain backup power and UPS systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment and systems.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs and cGMPs.
• Communicate effectively with system operators and stakeholders.
• Record work orders accurately in Maximo.
• Provide safety-focused, high-quality workmanship.
