Job summary

Halliburton in Lafayette, Louisiana is seeking an experienced Machine Operator to set up and operate CNC lathes, mills and drills. Night shift Mon-Thu 3:00pm–1:30am with possible Friday overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Skills typically acquired through 1-2 years related machining experience.
• Weiler, Mazak, or Okuma experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of G-Code is a plus

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and operate a variety of machine tools which may include numerical control/numerical control lathes, mills, drills, CNC/NC machines and/or manual machines.
• Read blueprints, perform shop mathematics, and perform inspection procedures to verify work.
