Job summary

Halliburton in Duncan, OK is seeking an experienced machinist to set up and operate CNC Mills and Lathes. You will read blueprints, perform first-article inspections, and adjust machining parameters to maintain quality and efficiency.

The role requires at least 2 years of CNC experience, strong metrology skills with micrometers/calipers, and willingness to work a 6:00am–4:30pm Monday–Thursday shift with potential overtime. Training and growth opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years CNC machining experience; more is welcome
• Ability to independently perform machine setups and operate CNC equipment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints/engineering drawings
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools and gauges
• Willingness to work overtime as required

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC Mills and Lathes
• Perform machine setups including fixture/tooling/workholding
• Verify programs and first-run parts
• Read blueprints and inspect using micrometers/calipers
• Monitor and adjust feeds, speeds, offsets and tooling for quality
• Troubleshoot machine, tooling, material, and process issues
• Maintain production records and communicate issues to supervision
• Perform routine machine maintenance and housekeeping
• Mentor less-experienced machinists as needed
