Job summary

Diodes Incorporated is seeking an Experienced Equipment Maintenance Technician for the night shift at our South Portland, Maine facility. The role focuses on maintenance, troubleshooting and repairing semiconductor equipment in a fast-paced clean room environment.

The ideal candidate has an associate degree in electrical or electromechanical tech, strong electrical and vacuum system troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work 12‑hour nights with a 3‑on/3‑off schedule.

Qualifications

• Associate or military equivalent in electrical/electromechanical maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and repair electromechanical systems and vacuum equipment.
• Read electrical schematics and use test instruments safely.
• Comfortable handling hazardous chemicals and gases.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs on semiconductor equipment.
• Follow safety protocols in a clean room environment.
• Assist with continuous improvements and preventative maintenance.
• Work rotating 12-hour nights with 3 days on/3 days off.
