Diodes Incorporated in South Portland, Maine, is seeking a Facilities Technician/Plant Engineer to support the wafer fabrication facility. You will manage mechanical and electrical systems, cover 12-hour shifts (7 AM–7 PM or 7 PM–7 AM) and coordinate with engineers to maintain continuous operations.

The role requires a strong mechanical/electrical background, experience with boilers, chillers, HVAC systems, and safety-focused operations.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in mechanical or electrical technology with 5+ years related experience.
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Marine Engineering Operations/Technology preferred).
• Strong safety focus and ability to work in cleanroom environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure uninterruptible operations of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Cover shift time-off requests for 12-hour Plant Engineers.
• Maintain facilities equipment and commissioning to optimize systems.
• Prepare technical reports and present engineering findings.
