The Valley Hospital-Paramus is seeking a security professional to help maintain a safe hospital environment in Paramus, NJ. Responsibilities include controlling access, patrolling, and supporting transportation of staff and supplies.

Requirements include a high school diploma, 2 years of security or police experience, and a valid NJ driver’s license. Strong communication and teamwork are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years' security experience preferably in health care or two years of police experience.
• Driver's License - current and valid New Jersey driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Minimum six hours training in Crisis Intervention.
• Excellent oral and written communication; ability to interact with customers and work under minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate a safe environment and prevent fire, theft, vandalism, and illegal entry.
• Maintain control of parking facilities and assist in transportation of personnel and/or supplies as needed.
