Job summary

Valley Health System is seeking a security professional to help maintain a safe hospital environment in Paramus, NJ. The role involves preventing unauthorized entry and supporting transport of personnel and supplies as required.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of security or police experience and a valid New Jersey driver’s license. A crisis intervention training minimum and strong communication skills are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years' security experience preferably in health care or two years of police experience.
• New Jersey driver's license required and valid.
• Minimum six hours training in Crisis Intervention.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe environment and prevent fire, theft, vandalism and illegal entry.
• Assist in driving/transporting personnel and supplies as needed.
