Job summary

The Valley Hospital in Paramus is seeking a Night Shift Security Officer to help maintain a safe environment and deter theft, vandalism, and unauthorized entry.

Responsibilities include controlling parking facilities and assisting in the transportation of personnel and supplies as needed; candidates should have a high school diploma, NJ driver’s license, and at least two years of security or police experience; crisis intervention training is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years' security experience preferably in health care or two years of police experience.
• Minimum six hours training in Crisis Intervention.

Responsibilities

• To facilitate a safe environment and prevent fire, theft, vandalism, and illegal entry.
• To maintain control of parking facilities and to assist in the transportation (driving) of personnel and/or supplies when necessary.
