Job summary

Allied Universal, North America's leading security and facility services company, is seeking a part-time Security Officer. You will provide customer service to customers, visitors, and employees while carrying out site procedures and safety protocols.

Responsibilities include patrolling the retail location and surrounding areas, monitoring entrances and high-traffic zones, and reporting incidents to leadership. A background check and drug screen may apply where required.

Qualifications

• Two years of security-related experience.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to customers, visitors, and employees by following site-specific procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas; report suspicious activity and hazards to leadership.
• Respond to incidents and customer concerns calmly and professionally following site procedures.
• Document daily activities, patrols, incidents, and observations and communicate to leadership and site contacts.
