Qualifications

• Graduation from a senior high school or equivalent (GED) preferred.
• General literacy skills required.
• All new hires may be required to pass a pre-employment physical.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and maintains spaces to established standards by vacuuming, mopping, dusting, washing and disinfecting surfaces.
• Request, proportion, and use cleaning chemicals, equipment, and supplies.
• Collect and dispose of garbage per district guidelines.
• Move or assist in moving furniture and equipment within areas.
• Maintain building and grounds security and notify authorities in emergencies.
• Grounds work such as raking, sweeping, shoveling, and snow removal outside of proper hours.
• Assist staff, students and visitors using facilities as needed.
