Job summary

Weyerhaeuser in Dodson, LA, seeks a Production Supervisor – Sawmill to lead a team of hourly workers on a night shift. You will drive safety, productivity and quality, while championing continuous improvement, strong coaching, and clear communication with team members and cross-functional partners.

You are expected to coach staff, balance workload in a 24/7 environment, and model our core values to achieve ambitious plant goals and safe operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 3 years' supervisory experience in an industrial environment.
• Proven leadership to coach employees to higher performance.
• Strong planning, organization and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with housekeeping, ergonomics and labor efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily leadership and oversight of hourly production employees to ensure safe and efficient work.
• Set and communicate performance expectations aligned with mill goals.
• Assign work and evaluate job performance; provide timely feedback.
• Lead safety and other team meetings; ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
• Coach employees and drive continuous improvement in safety, quality and production.
