Job summary

Weyerhaeuser is seeking a Maintenance Superintendent in Dodson, LA to lead all maintenance activities with a strong safety focus. The role requires directing preventive/predictive maintenance, driving reliability, and managing capital projects to improve KPI performance.

The position is day-shift, with flexibility for other shifts and weekends. A minimum 5+ years in leadership within an industrial setting is preferred, along with strong communication and team development skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 5+ years' leadership experience in an industrial environment.
• Strong safety mindset and leadership capability.
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and PLC programming.
• Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance methods.
• Knowledge of business and financial concepts.
• Proven success in managing capital projects.
• Demonstrated results in achieving business goals.
• Ability to address root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage all maintenance activities, prioritizing associate safety.
• Lead preventive and predictive maintenance for process reliability.
• Drive KPI improvements and continuous maintenance improvements.
• Coach, mentor and develop maintenance staff.
• Lead capital projects and ensure cost-effective budgeting.
• Coordinate with production to maximize productivity and minimize cost.
• Maintain/optimize CMMS processes and data accuracy.
