Job summary

Bowman Andros is seeking a 4 OZ Relief Operator to ensure smooth and continuous production on the 4 OZ Core Sauce line. You will relieve mixers, fillers, capper room, and other operators during breaks and vacations, ensuring swift coverage and adherence to SOPs.

The role requires attention to safety, lean manufacturing principles, and teamwork. You will monitor temperatures, manage sauce flow, and coordinate with maintenance to minimize downtime in a fast-paced plant.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Identify machine safety features and ensure safe operation.
• Regular and reliable attendance required.
• Hands-on mechanical troubleshooting experience.
• Basic computer skills preferred.
• PPE must be worn in Production Area.
• Strong math and literacy skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.
• Operate mixing machinery safely per SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, adjust and maintain temperatures of sauce in mix tanks.
• Maintain sauce consistency and supply for filler demand.
• Coordinate change-overs and communicate with operators and management.
• Adjust valves during change-overs to maintain flow.
• Report major mechanical issues to maintenance staff.
• Walk the production line to assist other operators.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Observe for cross contamination or foreign objects.
• Relieve other operators for breaks, lunches, or vacations.
