Job summary

Ecowize North America is seeking a Sanitation Technician to join our food manufacturing sanitation team. You will clean and sanitize equipment, work with chemicals, and ensure facilities meet USDA, FDA, and client standards.

This full-time overnight position emphasizes safety, teamwork, and reliability. You’ll report to the Site Manager, train on processes, and have opportunities for overtime, benefits, and career growth in a fast-paced food safety environment.

Qualifications

• Commitment to safety, teamwork, quality.
• No prior sanitation experience required; on‑the‑job training provided.
• Overnight shift availability, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize equipment, floors, walls, and work areas in assigned plant sections.
• Dismantle and reassemble equipment for thorough cleaning.
• Handle cleaning chemicals safely and follow usage guidelines.
• Inspect equipment and areas for pre-op readiness.
• Follow safety protocols including Lock Out/Tag Out and PPE.
• Complete sanitation tasks within established timelines.
• Maintain communication with teammates and supervisors.
• Assist with additional duties as needed.
