Job summary

Ecowize North America is seeking a Sanitation Technician to join our mission-driven team focused on food safety and operational excellence. You’ll clean and sanitize food production facilities using specialized equipment and chemicals to meet USDA, FDA, and client standards.

This is a physically demanding, overnight role reporting to a Site Manager. You’ll work with teammates to complete sanitation tasks on third shift, maintaining safety protocols and delivering a safe, spotless plant

Qualifications

• Safety, teamwork, quality focus and a positive attitude.
• No prior sanitation experience required; training provided.
• Must be available for third shift, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize equipment, floors, walls and work areas.
• Dismantle and reassemble equipment for thorough cleaning.
• Handle cleaning chemicals safely and follow guidelines.
• Inspect equipment and areas for readiness for pre-op inspections.
• Follow safety protocols including Lock Out/Tag Out, PPE, and HAZCOM.
• Work efficiently to complete tasks within timelines.
• Maintain communication with teammates and supervisors.
• Support teammates and assist with additional duties.
