Job summary

Bento is seeking a Sanitation Supervisor for the California Food Factory in Fullerton, CA. You will lead daily sanitation operations in a 24-hour production setting, ensuring FDA and California health standard compliance and maintaining SSOP adherence.

The role requires a high school diploma and 3+ years in sanitation within a regulated environment, plus strong English communication and knowledge of sanitation chemicals. Salary is $70,000–$75,000 annually with benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Working knowledge of sanitation chemicals, dilution procedures, and chemical titration.
• Familiarity with SSOPs, GMPs, and food safety practices.
• Ability to follow written procedures, safety guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
• Basic English communication skills (verbal and written).
• Basic mathematics skills for chemical measurement and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coordinate, and supervise sanitation staff to ensure all cleaning and sanitation activities comply with SSOPs and safety protocols.
• Oversee daily sanitation operations in a 24-hour production environment, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and compliance across all shifts.
• Conduct routine inspections and verification checks to ensure sanitation tasks meet food safety standards.
• Train, mentor, and coach staff on cleaning procedures, chemical handling, equipment sanitation, and workplace safety.
• Maintain sanitation documentation, including Master Sanitation Schedule and daily logs.
• Support internal audits, regulatory inspections, and food safety initiatives.
• Ensure appropriate inventory of sanitation chemicals, tools, and supplies.
