Job summary

Fresh Express is seeking a Sanitation Coordinator to assist the QA Sanitation Supervisor in developing and maintaining food safety and quality programs, ensuring production of high quality, safe products.

The role supports daily sanitation tasks, conducts audits, trains sanitation staff, and coordinates with other departments to meet CFR and internal audit requirements; bilingual English/Spanish is valued and the hourly wage starts at $21.75.

Qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge of food processing.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in computer usage (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Able to speak, read and write in both Spanish and English.
• Ability to guide third party sanitation personnel and coordinate cleaning tasks.

Responsibilities

• Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position.
• Compliance to SOP's, GMPs, Housekeeping, Safety, and all other FE policies.
• Prioritize work assignments and manage multiple tasks.
• Analyze data and ensure sanitation practices meet CFR and audit criteria.
• Conduct daily sanitation audits and supervise cleaning crews.
• Ensure proper documentation and secure chemical handling.
• Collaborate with all departments to support sanitation priorities.
