Job summary
Ethos Veterinary Health seeks a Registered Veterinary Technician (Emergency) for our Care Center in Centerville, OH. The role is full-time and third shift, with a rotating schedule and on-call weekends. Compensation ranges from $25 to $35 per hour, plus a $3/hour night shift differential and on-call pay. A $5,000 hiring bonus is offered.
You will triage emergencies, provide nursing care, and support doctors and staff in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Qualifications
- Credentialed Veterinary Technician (RVT, CVT, LVT or equivalent).
- Experience in veterinary emergency and specialty settings preferred.
- Strong technical nursing skills and ability to stay calm under pressure.
Responsibilities
- Assess and triage emergency patients with veterinarians to plan diagnostics and treatments.
- Provide high-quality nursing care, monitor hospitalized patients, and ensure patient comfort.
- Perform venipuncture, IV catheter placement, anesthesia induction and monitoring, radiography, and perioperative care.
