Job summary

HCA Florida Gulf Coast Hospital in Panama City, FL is seeking a part-time Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to deliver patient-centered care across emergency, ICU, and acute settings. You’ll administer oxygen, assist with ventilation, and partner with physicians and nurses to support the care team.

Qualifications

• RRT - NBRC and State Registered Respiratory Therapist
• Associate Degree in Respiratory
• ACLS must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date
• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• PALS must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date

Responsibilities

• Assess respiratory status and determine need for interventions
• Deliver oxygen, aerosolized meds, airway clearance techniques
• Manage ventilation and airway support (invasive/noninvasive)
• Educate patients and families; collaborate with physicians and nurses
• Maintain and clean equipment; follow infection prevention standards
