Job summary
HCA Florida Gainesville Hospital is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for the night shift on a full-time basis. You will perform diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory care across care settings, using advanced technology and collaborating with a skilled team to deliver high-quality patient care.
You will provide oxygen therapy, airway clearance, invasive/noninvasive ventilation, and patient/family education.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or higher in Respiratory Therapy or related certificate with work experience.
- NBRC and state registration as Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
- Basic/Advanced Life Support certifications within 30 days of start date (BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP).
Responsibilities
- Assess respiratory status and determine need for interventions.
- Deliver oxygen, aerosolized meds, airway clearance techniques, and other therapies.
- Manage ventilation and airway support, invasive and noninvasive.
- Educate patients and families, partner with care team, assist with newborn stabilization as needed.
- Maintain equipment and ensure infection prevention standards.
