Job summary

Qualifications

• Associates Degree Respiratory required or Certificate of Completion Respiratory preferred.
• Clinical rotations from an accredited respiratory practitioner program required.
• Licensed Registered Respiratory Therapist in Florida upon hire required.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications safely and according to indications.
• Perform arterial punctures and blood gas sampling.
• Care for artificial airways and ventilators as part of respiratory therapy.
• Set up and monitor mechanical ventilators and oxygen delivery systems.
• Educate patients and families on disease management and breathing techniques.
