Job summary

HCA Florida Gulf Coast Hospital in Panama City is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to guide patients through routine and critical care, perform diagnostics and therapies, and manage ventilation in diverse settings.

You will work with advanced respiratory technology, collaborate with physicians and nurses, mentor staff, and contribute to ongoing professional growth while enjoying a stable night schedule.

Qualifications

• RRT NBRC and State Registered Respiratory Therapist credential.
• Associate degree in Respiratory.
• ACLS within 60 days of start date.
• BCLS within 30 days of start date.
• PALS within 60 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Assess respiratory status by exams and breath sounds to determine interventions.
• Deliver therapy including oxygen, aerosols, airway clearance and other treatments.
• Manage ventilation and airways with invasive and noninvasive support.
• Educate patients and families; support care team and clinicians.
• Maintain equipment, ensure readiness, and follow infection-prevention standards.

ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support

BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support

PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support
