Job summary

Resurrection Medical Center is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 12-week temporary contract. Night shift 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, 36 hours per week, with rotating weekends in a fast-paced acute care setting.

Responsibilities include delivering respiratory therapies and diagnostics under medical direction, with potential Lead RCP duties during shifts, in a high-acuity environment. RRT credentialing and state license required or pending within 3 months.

Qualifications

• Current State RCP license required.
• Current NBRC RRT credential OR to be obtained within three (3) months of hire.
• BLS certification upon hire and maintain current.
• ACLS certification upon hire and maintain current.
• PALS certification upon hire and maintain current or within 60 days of hire.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program certificate upon hire and maintain or within 60 days of hire.
• Associate Degree or Bachelor of Science degree preferred.
• Two (2) years of acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory therapeutic and pulmonary diagnostic procedures as ordered by the provider.
• Assess, plan, implement, and document care with attention to age/population needs.
• May be identified as Lead RCP, with responsibility for section/department during shift.

Associate Degree or Bachelor of Science degree preferred
