Job summary

Utz Quality Foods, Inc. in Hanover, PA is hiring a Finished Goods Handler for the weeknight shift (5:25PM–5:25AM). You will move product, pull orders, load trailers, and coordinate trailer movement with local facilities.

Responsibilities include operating robotic equipment, packaging, quality checks, and data entry. Candidate must be forklift certified or able to obtain certification, work in a fast-paced environment, and follow GMP and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Forklift certification required or ability to obtain it.
• Operate and troubleshoot automated robotic equipment.
• Basic computer and data entry skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Attention to detail and adherence to GMP standards.
• Willingness to cross-train and learn new systems.
• Ability to lift, move production materials up to 45 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Move product, pull orders, load trailers and coordinate trailer movement.
• Transport, load and unload materials within the robotics area.
• Prepare robotics equipment and adjust operations per production schedules.
• Program, troubleshoot and adjust robotic equipment to maintain efficiency.
• Provide coverage for dumpers and forklift operators as needed.
• Maintain quality checks on bags, pricing and packaging integrity.
• Record production data and complete paperwork accurately.
• Cross-train in additional finished goods and Plant 3 tasks.
• Follow GMP, safety and food safety standards at all times.
