Job summary

Huntsville Hospital Health System is seeking an experienced RN for a temporary assignment in Huntsville, AL. This position features night shifts with a minimum of 48 hours per week for 13 weeks, with potential renewal for up to 26 weeks per year.

Assignment benefits include a limited benefit plan (HDHP only) and shift differentials. Internal HH Health System affiliates are ineligible to apply. RN licensure in Alabama or multi-state is required.

Qualifications

• Graduation from state board School of Nursing with current Alabama or multi-state licensure.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in Critical Care and/or Emergency Care; ability to work in Med-Surg units.
• BLS required; ACLS required if applicable to unit.
• Internal HH Health System affiliates employees not eligible to apply.

Responsibilities

• Identify patient needs and priorities for care through assessment.
• Plan and delegate care based on patient needs.
• Evaluate patient response to care and attainment of outcomes.
• Accountable for outcomes of patient care during the assigned shift.
