Job summary

Inova Fairfax Medical Campus is seeking a Night Shift Registered Nurse Unit Supervisor for the Medical/Surgical Unit. This full-time night role includes leading the unit, ensuring quality care, and coordinating with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient flow and safety.

Requirements include a BSN (ADN considered if BSN completed within a year), at least one year of RN clinical experience, and BLS certification, plus completion of a Charge Nurse and RN Unit Supervisor workshop within 90

Qualifications

• At least one year RN clinical experience.
• BSN required; ADN acceptable if BSN is completed within one year.
• BLS certification required; completion of RN Unit Supervisor workshop within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Lead front-line clinical operations to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Conduct team huddles and ensure safety and environmental rounding.
• Support discharge planning and patient flow with multidisciplinary team.
• Mentor and coach staff; participate in performance evaluations and hiring.
