Job summary

Inova Fairfax Medical Campus is seeking an RN Unit Supervisor for the Women’s Medicine Unit. This is a full-time night-shift role leading clinical operations and delivering reliable, high-quality care. The RN will help drive governance, patient experience, and staff engagement within a dedicated team.

Qualifications

• Requires Basic Life Support (American Heart Association).
• Licensed Registered Nurse in Virginia.
• 1 year RN experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (or ASN with completion within 1 year).

Responsibilities

• Lead high-quality shift huddles and communicate priorities.
• Ensure safety rounds and environmental safety checks are completed.
• Mentor and coach clinical staff and support unit governance.
• Analyze unit metrics and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Support discharge planning and staffing/resource forecasting.
