Job summary

Inova Fair Oaks Hospital is seeking a Night Shift Registered Nurse to join our Medical/Surgical Unit. The role involves delivering safe, holistic nursing care and coordinating with a multidisciplinary team on the night shift at our Fairfax, VA campus.

Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited nursing program; if ADN, BSN to be completed within 5 years of start date.
• Minimum 1 year of Registered Nurse clinical experience.
• Licensed or eligible for RN licensure in Virginia; BLS certification required.

• Perform comprehensive patient health assessments and interpret data sets.
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care.
• Deliver patient- and family-centered care and coordinate with the healthcare team.
• Advocate for patients' rights and provide counseling while supporting care transitions.
