Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center in Knoxville, part of Covenant Health, seeks an experienced Registered Nurse Unit Supervisor for the Emergency Department. This full-time night shift role involves 80 hours per pay period and supervision of ED nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care.

The position requires a nursing degree, Tennessee RN license, CPR certification, and at least three years of clinical experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited nursing program.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred or required within 3 years in position.

Responsabilités

• Assists Nurse Manager with delivery of high quality nursing care.
• Manages administrative duties on the nursing unit.
• Maintains operational reports and records for regulatory purposes.
• Coordinates nursing activities and communication among staff, medical and ancillary departments.
• Supports unit goals aligned with facility and system objectives.
• Promotes safety and evidence-based care.
• Ensures patient confidentiality and accurate documentation.
• Supervises nursing interventions and patient care delivery.
• Collaborates with disciplines to ensure timely, efficient care.
• Facilitates staff development and education.
