Job summary

Jackson Memorial Hospital, a flagship facility of Jackson Health System, is seeking an experienced Clinical Staff Nurse for the Trauma Geri Med-Surg unit in Miami. This full-time night shift role requires 1–3 years of related experience and an RN license.

Associate's degree in Nursing is required; BSN preferred. You will provide patient care, collaborate with physicians, document care, and uphold HIPAA and CARE values.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing is required.
• BSN degree preferred.
• Valid Florida RN license required.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support may be required at the unit level.
• Generally requires 1 to 3 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Implements and coordinates patient care in collaboration with physicians, providers, and healthcare staff.
• Utilizes the nursing process to apply nursing knowledge.
• Documents all pertinent information related to nursing care and patient observations.
• Maintains HIPAA compliance at all times.
• Provides direction to LPNs, CNAs, or MAs and conducts new staff orientation as assigned.
