Job summary

Jackson Memorial Hospital is seeking a Clinical Staff Nurse for the JHS Workforce Plus Acute Care Float (Med-Surg). The position is per diem, nights 7:00 pm - 7:00 am with a minimum of three shifts per month, located in Miami, FL.

The role requires strong clinical nursing skills, critical thinking, and adherence to the JHS CARE model. Qualifications include 1–3 years of related experience, an Associate's degree in Nursing, and a Florida RN license.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in nursing is required.
• BSN degree is preferred.
• Current Florida RN license is required.

Responsibilities

• Implements and coordinates patient care in collaboration with physicians and healthcare staff.
• Utilizes the nursing process to deliver safe and effective nursing care.
• Documents all pertinent information related to nursing care and patient observations.
• Maintains HIPAA compliance at all times.
• Provides guidance to LPNs and CNAs and participates in new staff orientation.
