Job summary

Backus Hospital in Plainfield, CT is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 7:00pm–7:30am shift with rotating weekends and holidays. You will use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care, building strong nurse-patient relationships to ensure high-quality outcomes. Education: Graduation from a school of nursing; BSN or MSN preferred.

Experience: 1 year RN; 2+ years in this clinical area preferred. Licenses: CT RN license, BLS; ACLS/NRP within timelines.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a school of nursing; CT RN license required or eligible.
• BLS certification required; ACLS/NRP within 90 days of hire.
• One year RN experience; two+ years in this clinical area preferred.

• Demonstrates clinical competence using the nursing process and builds a synergistic nurse-patient relationship.
