Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA is seeking a RN Transfer Center Bed Flow Coordinator for a full-time night shift (Third shift, 36 hours per week). The role focuses on planning and coordinating patient transfers and bed flow across units to ensure timely care.

Requirements include an active RN license with 2+ years of acute care experience; ICU/ED/Transfer Center experience is preferred. Excellent multitasking, typing speed, and accurate note-taking are essential.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with 2+ years in acute care.
• Experience ICU/ED/Transfer Center preferred.
• Ability to multitask, type with reasonable speed and take accurate notes.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, develop, implement and evaluate plans of care for specified patient populations.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary team to ensure timely patient placement and/or transfer.
• Communicate capacity management plans to nursing units, leadership, and physicians.
