Job summary

Advocate Health seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for Telemetry in a 36-hour weekly night-shift role. This position focuses on evidence-based nursing, patient-family engagement, and interprofessional collaboration to optimize outcomes.

The RN will monitor patients, administer medications per protocols, maintain accurate EHR documentation, and may float to other units within the service area to meet patient care needs.

Qualifications

• RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where client is located
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Graduate of a nursing education program approved by a Board of Nursing

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care and apply evidence-based practices.
• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care.
• Monitor patient conditions, adjust care plans, and document in the EHR
• May float to other units to meet patient care needs and ensure age-appropriate care
