RWJBarnabas Health's Registered Nurse position at RWJ Hamilton Hospital is a night-shift role offering 36 hours per week, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and patient-centered care. You will conduct comprehensive assessments, administer medications, and collaborate with physicians to ensure safe, effective care across the patient journey.

The role requires an active NJ RN license, BLS and ACLS, ASN or Nursing Diploma with BSN preferred, and prior acute care experience.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license in good standing.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• ASN or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred.
• If you hold ASN or Diploma, commit to obtaining BSN within five years.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing strongly preferred.
• Prior acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and recognize clinical changes.
• Administer medications and treatments safely.
• Collaborate with physicians and providers for timely care decisions.
• Educate patients and families for informed care.
• Ensure accurate documentation in the electronic medical record.
