Qualifications

• Current Louisiana RN license or temporary permit or NLC/eNLC multi-state license.
• Three years of RN experience; OR a BSN with two years; OR MSN/MPH with two years; OR Doctorate with one year.

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs, and delivers resident care on assigned units, including shift coordination, staff reassignment, and direct patient care as needed (e.g., administering medications, treatments, and assessments).
• Supervises and evaluates subordinate staff, including performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and staff development.
• Collaborates with nursing leadership and other departments to ensure 24-hour continuity of care and a safe environment for residents.
• Completes clinical documentation such as RAI, MDS, and care plan updates based on evolving needs.
• Investigates and reports complaints and unusual occurrences, documenting findings and proposing action plans.
